Born in Jombang (East Java, Indonesia) on 03 December 1974. Bachelor’s degree on Informatics Engineering, STT Telkom, Bandung, in 1998. MSc degree on Complex Adaptive Systems, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden in 2006. Research interest: Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Evolutionary Computation, Speech Technology.

· 16 August 2007: Scientific Speech (Orasi Ilmiah) in STT Telkom, “Telecommunication: Past, Present and Future” (Telekomunikasi: Dulu, Sekarang, dan Masa Depan).

· 14 – 17 November 2006: IEEE TENCON 2006 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Hong Kong.

· September 2005 – April 2006: Member of joint research team (TELKOMRisTI, STT Telkom, and ATR Japan) in developing Indonesian Large Vocabulary Continuous Speech Recognition.

· 12 – 16 September 2005: Training program on Automatic Speech Recognition, ATR Laboratories, Kyoto, Japan.

· 13 – 16 June 2001: Short course on Distance Learning System via IP Network and Satellite Telecommunications, NTT East, Tokyo, Japan.

· 01 – 04 April 2001: Short courses on Creative World, Mobile Internet Application Development, Third Generation Wireless Technology, Future Terminal, and Bluetooth Technology, Ericsson’s Research and Development Centre, Stockholm, Sweden.
